more visits!

Aaron and I drove over to Palm Desert on Friday to visit my Grandpa John and Margaret. They vacationing here in California for one month. I haven't seen them since our wedding in 2005 and Aaron has never actually met them (other than at the wedding) So it was very nice to spend the day with them. We had a nice lunch out on their patio and walked around the area they were staying at. We really spent most of the day just talking and looking at pictures and catching up on each other's lives. I was so happy to spend that time with them especially since it's been such a long since I've seen them. It was nice that they could properly meet Aaron as well.

Well this month has had it's share of visits!! We had Amanda from Toronto stay with us for a week, then we had a nice evening in San Diego with Murray and Lorrie from Calgary. Kelly from Atlanta came to see us for a few days, and we just spent a day with Grandpa John and Margaret...
The last guest to conclude this stretch of continual visits is none other than our friend Cindy from Calgary, who currently calls Pismo Beach her home. She is working with YWAM on the central coast of California and leading a 6 month school which focusses on "justice and the arts." She will be coming down next weekend with a small group of her students to host one of our 1828 events. We are super excited to see her again!!

Well, it has been so great to see so many of our friends in these last few weeks. It really is refreshing to re-connect! We feel very blessed...
