Orange Circle

Yesterday Aaron and I spent the afternoon at downtown circle in Orange. It's a really cool area and a fun place to walk around. We browsed antique stores, chatted over iced tea at Starbucks, snapped some pictures, walked around the nearby neighborhoods, and found a great sandwich cafe for dinner. It was an awesome day! I really enjoy having Monday set aside as a day for me and Aaron and in just three months Monday will be a day for the three of us! Can't wait :) By the way, this is random but right now we are loving the song "Wake Up" by The Arcade Fire. It's definitely worth a listen, check it out here.

27 weeks, already in my third trimester!

just some details...

This last Monday Aaron and I went to Disneyland to just walk around and enjoy the sun. We had a really nice day and enjoyed strolling around and snapping a few pictures. Here are a few shots of some details that I noticed. Enjoy!

There's nothing like a day at the beach

Those of you who know Aaron and I know that we love Mondays because it is our day off. Whether we just chill out at home and watch movies or drive out to the beach or read books at Barnes and Nobles, we like to spend the day together and relax. Today we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and headed out to Huntington Beach. We walked along the coast, watched surfers on the pier... There's really nothing like a simple day at the beach!

Disneyland

Well, we have totally been making good use of our year passes to Disneyland. Last Friday we spent all afternoon and evening there with Aaron's sister and her kids. Every other time I have gone to Disneyland it has just been me and Aaron so it was really neat to go with other people too. Me and my 5-year-old nephew partnered together for rides and it was awesome, it was like experiencing everything from a child's perspective. He was crying and absolutely terrified when we went to the Haunted Mansion and the whole time we were on the Soaring California ride he kept screaming, "This is so tight!" It was really funny...

Then on Monday Aaron and I went back and spent the day there by ourselves. We didn't go on too many rides but just walked around and did some "people-watching." There are so many details in this place which it makes it a really cool spot to take pictures (which of course we did.) Here are some photos from both visits.

Aaron was was using the telephoto zoom lens so I
didn't even notice that he was taking this picture!
