First, let me just say that I have totally stunk at keeping up with this blog lately. It has been a busy season for me and so blogging seems to have fallen to the bottom of my list.
Being a Mommy has taken up a lot of my time. I love it, I love them. Yes, it can be tiring when I haven't showered and I'm cleaning Cheerios and apple sauce off the floor and I can't get that Yo Gabba Gabba song out of my head... but I wouldn't trade it for the world. These two little people have stolen my heart and I'm pretty crazy about them.
I am also in the middle of Christmas rush over at my Etsy store, Poppy & Pine. Orders have been coming in and there are times that it can be a little overwhelming to keep up with everything. But again, I am reminded what a blessing it is to be able to love what I do and work from home (during nap time) and have this business.
My husband and I are also pastors of a church. Working in ministry is not easy. There is a lot of blood, sweat and tears involved. But our community is amazing. We have a wonderful team of people that work with us and that we are honored to call friends.
So with all that, I've gotten a bit behind with the blog. I still have photos from Pismo Beach, and Joshua Tree and Talia's birthday party and a DIY tutorial just waiting to be edited... (hey photographers, any tips you care to share on keeping up with photos? I would appreciate it!)
Thank you for understanding and sticking in there with me. I am so thankful for all my readers, for your kind comments and messages. I am thankful for this community and from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
