Backyard

These pictures may seem a little random. I was over at Aaron’s parent’s house yesterday and I decided to pull out my camera and take a few shots in their backyard and here’s what I came up with. In the last two years I have become really interested in photography and I am enjoying finding art in things that aren't so obvious like... my in-law's backyard!

There's a quote that says, “Poetry lifts the veil from the hidden beauty of the world, and makes familiar objects be as if they were not familiar.” I think that applies to photography too. You can take a normal, everyday item like a ladder or a door handle and make them look pretty interesting.

  1. I like. I do think fresh eyes has a nice appeal. I believe photography is just that : seeing the world in a new way that then inspires others to take a second look at what they might otherwise take for granted.
I really like the orange tree. Amanda
